Can I Downgrade?

Okay I have a iPhone 3GS New Bootrom iOS 4.0.1. I don't have my SHSH on file for 3.1.2 but i do for 3.1.3. I tried to downgrade to 3.1.3 but it didnt work. Did I do something wrong, or can I downgrade still?

No, without SHSh's for previous firmware you cannot.

If you have SHSH on file for 3.1.3 as you said you do. Then you should have no trouble downgrading. You have to change your host file on the computer to point to Saurik server. You should google or check iclarified for instructions on how to make this change.

Apple is no longer Signing 3.1.2 or even 4.0 for that matter. So as Applejuiced said if you have not saved 3.1.2 you can not down grade . Sometimes you can't I have saved every upgrade on my 3GS 3.0 on up. But only 3.1.3 and 4.0 are available to me!
