iPod can I edit mp3 info before importing?

I have 20 mp3 folders in my desktop, the tags are in the mp3's but the disc #'s aren't, so when I import

I get one folder, one album...and a whole crazy mix of tracks.. is there software to edit tags in finder?

Create a new playlist, then just drag the tracks directly from Finder onto the playlist, and they'll populate both into the library and into that list. Then you can modify the ID3 tags from there without having to hunt them down from all over your library.

there's a program called MetaX that let's you change all kinds of tags, for audio or video.
