Can I Enter My Password Using the IPad Remote App?

I find the ATV 4K supplied remote, very difficult to use. When Downloading, an app and my ATV requests a password, can I use the ipad remote app to type in the password? If so, how do I do that on the iPad? Does the iPad remote app have a keyboard icon? I’m new to this and very confused.

Yes, you can enter passwords. Just download the Apple TV app to your iOS device and use it.

Why does aptv keyboard notification not allowed to press enter after typing password via se -keyboard stays displayed i.e. cant hit enter.
