Hi!

So, a 2011 MBP died.
It has an upgraded SSD drive, which works fine.

The question is: can I extract the data from it by connecting it to a Windows machine (I do have a SATA to USB cable)?

Only need the videos, pictures, word documents and PDFs I had there.

JMVB has the answer.

I'm not a Windows guy (been Mac-only since 1987), but I would NOT connect a Mac drive to a Windows computer unless I had already installed the required software to access the Mac file system.

Otherwise, there might be "unintended consequences"... o_O
