Can I Film 4K Video while using AirPods as a MICROPHONE?

Hi community,

I finally upgraded from my hard to hold SE, to a brand new iPhone 7 Plus, which is just as difficult to hold less than 24 hours in.

Anyhow, I am wanting the AirPods but the true deciding factor would be if I could use these babies to record my phone while my iphone is filming perched on a tripod 10 feet away.

Hell, I was then wondering If I would be able to hand an AirPod to someone and now two people have working mics connected to the iPhone that is filming.

Is this possible?
