I have a macbook pro and i got it coming up to 9 months ago. Is there a way that I can find out the day it was put together/its birthday? If not then that's fine, i still know the 'adoption' day. Maybe i need to stop thinking of it as a real living thing?:D;):p

The closest you can get I think is to just look at your Serial Number, the 3rd digit tells you the year, and the 4th and 5th digit tells you the week it was built. For example, mine is 841, so it was built in the 41st week of 2008.

You should be worried more about the adoption date cause that's when your warranty is gonna run out!

Unless you bought Applecare of course.

If you could, would you celebrate it? :)

LOL! I probably would, i've already given mine a name.
