Hi Guys,

Newbie so take it easy - I have just upgraded to an iPhone4 and want to sell my old 3GS, but I want to fully wipe the data as you used to be able to do on the 3G, not just wipe the encryption key. Is there any way I can do this?

Any help much appreciated,

Nic

Thanks Guys,

All good, but I had heard that on the 3GS both of those just wipe the encryption key, not all the data like on the 3G and before? The process used to take 2 hours on the older iPhones as it literally overwrites the whole disc but now the key just gets destroyed? confused.com . . . .
