So if I dropped my iPad Air 2 on the floor by accident or dropped my smartphone by accident on the iPad and the screen got smashed or cracked.

I bought the iPad Air 2 at PC World, Not at Apple and all so have Apple Care as well!!!

Yes, for sure.
Accidental damage won't be a free replacement.
If you purchased AppleCare+, then you have two incidents for repairing your iPad for $49 each time for accidental damage.
That would mean repairing your present iPad, or replacing with Apple's choice of a new, or refurbished unit.
