Can I get a new iphone 4 battery under warranty if mine still works?

Hello,

I have an iPhone 4 with a warranty expiring in August/September.

My phone works perfectly fine. The battery still holds a decent charge, though not as great as when I first got it, definitely doesn't qualify as 'defective' by any means.

What I'd like to do is somehow get a free battery replacement from Apple before my warranty ends, even though my phone has zero issues.

Any suggestions?

Once Apple determines there is nothing wrong with your battery, they will deny you a replacement.
