The Apple Event is streaming right now and I already want the new Watch Series 4! Will I somehow get to trade in my Watch 3 LTE? It would be great to somehow get at least 1/2 of the $429 I paid for the Watch 3 LTE.

OK the Apple website just updated and you can value your Watch Series 3 for trade in. Mine gets me $229. I'll take it. The new Watch Series 4 I want is $529, minus the trade in, I will be paying $300 for new watch.

Interesting, My trade in value is $225. Not that $4 is a big deal but that’s odd. Mine’s a space gray.

£175 for my cellular too. Or £190 through o2.

Will probably pay off my contract though

mine is at $225 nike 42 lte, I believe you can pre-order or trade in and apple will send you a package on how to return, I don't believe prices are gonna change in the next few weeks, but I can't be sure... so you might wanna check with the store if you can preorder and keep your old one until you get the new one, I'm guessing they will give you at least a couple of weeks to send yours back to them

When I locked mine in, it basically said I’ll buy the Apple Watch for full price and they will send a return box. When they receive it and inspect it, I will receive a credit.

Kinda odd after I input my info it took me back to the Buy screen and seems to indicate it is credited but nothing I can do until I order. Wonder if this stays applied or if I have to do it again on preorder day. Are others getting past this?

If you read it closely they give you a refund once they verify its working condition. My guess is you pay full freight and then get a credit back once they have it and look it over.

A better deal is wait for your cell phone carrier to have it up. I do my watches with verizon. They take trade in values off on the spot AND allow you to pay it off over 4-6 months. Much better deal in my humble opinion.

Has anyone "locked' in? I lost mine over night. Do we have to wait until we can order fo it to go through?

It's nice that Apple offers this, but with not that much effort you can get (much) more on eBay or Swappa or the like.
