Can I Get rid of 9 now

I am tired of OS 9 takeing up space, I wanted to know if I don't use 9 anymore for anything, can I get rid of it, and how do I do it saftly

Sure...you can get rid of it. Here is a good method for doing it cleanly. Just be sure to heed all of the warnings about being super super careful with Terminal commands...it's awfully easy to do things like deleting your entire system.
