My dilemma is - I bought the starlight last year because I loved the new display. I’ve always had silver. My plan has been to go to SS (or a 45mm) with the series 8, but after trying the 45 I just don’t feel like I can pull it off size-wise, and I have some sort of reaction to the SS, which is SO odd because I’ve never been sensitive to metals of any kind. I tried it in store last week and my arm started burning within minutes, but I just couldn’t believe it wasn’t something that would pass, so I bought one yesterday, set it up, wore it for a while in the afternoon, and wound up having to take it off. I put it on again this morning not even turned on. After about 30 minutes, there was just no way to keep it on. It’s the weirdest thing. I’ve tried the SS a few times now, and guess I am just gonna have to resign myself to the fact that I can’t wear it. I’m sick about it. I wear white gold, so the SS looks so much better with my jewelry.

Anyway, I can’t justify upgrading right now just to go from starlight to silver aluminum, but I don’t want to heavily invest in bands made with starlight lugs or anything like that (I want to order a bandwerks leather band, and a good metal link band).

I just need to see some bands that look good, but don’t have lots of clashing hardware. I DO have a metal band coming that I hope will be a better match than the last one. It’s inexpensive enough that I wouldn’t have an issue only using it for a while til I upgrade to silver again.

So, if you have a starlight aluminum, would you show me your faves? I just don’t have time to look through the show off your watch band to find them all.

I have this and like the color contrast very much. Also, it is very comfortable.
