Can I get this fixed without AppleCare?

I was wondering if I could go to an apple store or if there is a way to get a new screen for my 4S. Notice the yellowish semicircle on the center right hand side of the screen.

It didn't show in the screenshot but its visible on my screen though.

The yellowing is due to the display panel in the phone, so screen printing won't capture that.

I'd say if its a defect and you still have a warranty, then yeah Apple should take care of it

If the phone isn't under warranty, they will charge you for a screen replacement if they can do that in the store, otherwise you would be charged for a unit swap.
