I recently bought a MacBookPro and I'm wondering, is there any way for me to get a tv tuner on my laptop? Do I have one built in?

I'm completely new to MAC's, and have never had any kind of television set up on any computer at all, including my PC's... does anyone know if this is possible?

yup go to elgato.com. I have eye tv 200 but you would need to read the specs of each of their products to determine the right hardware for you.
I find elgato to be the best option.

if you have digital hd cable, miglia micro
if you have analog standard or cable, miglia mini

hope this helps!

p.s. these both come with the elegato eyeTV 2 software

Wow, thanks guys. That system looks pretty sweet. I especially like how small and streamlined it is... although being mac hardware it doesn't surprise me that much.

too bad I just blew so much on this computer... I'm definitely going to keep this stuff in mind though.

does anyone have any experience using elgato?
