Can i have a micro and nano sim both active?

hey guys, I'll be getting the iPhone 5 saturday. However, until the jailbreak is out I still need to make calls (periodically) on my 4. I know the sims cards are different so I can't just pop it out and switch them. Will ATT allow this? Two active sims cards but the same number? 1 micro and 1 nano

With a same number is a big NO! I tried that with many many carriers!

No. But you can get a Nano SIM converter on eBay which should let you use your active Nano SIM in your iPhone 4.
