Hi there. Just want to know; on my 2008 MP, can I install the Mac version ATI HD3870 in the second 16x PCI-E slot, *next* to my stock card - the 2600HD?. SLI and all that would be of NO interest to me, even if it WAS possible between these two cards, so please rule that out when replying. 
I am running Maya and Cinema 4D and other creative 3D apps; I just want to know if they will both sit happily side by side, and also how many monitors can I run with them both installed, and in what config?.
