Is there a way to install a PC version Nvidia Quadro FX4500 PCI-E in a G5? I tried installing it in a G5, hooked up the power cable, but don't get a video display. Can I just load a Mac driver for this card, and if so where can I find one (Nvidia doesn't support Mac, even though Mac sold G5s with them in it, and Apple won't sell me just the card). Is it that they use a different bios configuration? Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

Apple use specific cards for their systems, pc gfx cards will not work in mac systems unless they can be flashed to work and even then thats not always guarenteed (sp?).

Flashing a PC Quadro FX4500 PCI-e Video Card to work in a Mac G5

Do you know how to flash the bios on the card? I asked Macintosh for advice / assistance but got no reply. I'm desperate to get it to work in a G5. I have three of these PC video cards that were purchased erroneously, and I'm just trying to make them work, so as to avoid the expense of replacing them. Thanks for your help.
