So I have a 15" 1.5ghz PB from the generation previous to when they came out with the two finger scrolling trackpad. (When the options were 1.33ghz or 1.5ghz, not 1.5ghz and 1.67ghz)

I am simply wondering if I can do a swap for a trackpad from one of those later machines that can scroll?

I've tried the software alternatives that claim to enable scrolling on non scrolling trackpads and none have worked for me.

Thanks

Try this:

One of my favorite little mac apps, and it's transformed the way my old ibook G4 feels.

I believe that includes what you've suggested, I just never got the functionality. I'll give it another shot. Thanks

interesting sidetrack seems to be working this time around. I don't know why it didn't the last 2 times i tried it over the past 4 years, but it seems to be now.

Anyways, thanks for the recommendation. It's not EXACTLY what I was looking for but it's a start.
