Can I install bundled software (MBP) in Leopard?

Hey,

I was wondering if it is possible to install the bundled software, mostly iLife '08 from the installation CD's I got in my MBP after doing an install of Leopard? I have read somewhere that Leopard might not work the best if you do an update to Tiger so I wanted to just re-install it myself.
