I'm planning to buy a used 11" mba. It comes with iWorks and iLife pre installed but but no usb/dvd.
What happens if I want to do a clear install in the future? The installed software is on the previous owners Apple-id account so I will lose that.
I do have iLife2009 and iWorks 2009 and Snowleopard on dvd that came with the 2009 mbp we have. Can I use those dvd's for the mba?
I also would like to get the iWeb software that we stil use for our website on the mba. Is this possible?
Thanks

You should be able to install the DVD versions that you do have with an external Superdrive and then once installed get the updates via the App Store with your own id.

Thanks. I do have n external dvd- drive. Does that mean that I have to downgrade to Snowleopard 10.6 first?
