on my late 2007 24" iMac? I have no clue what my father did to my iMac but it won't boot it correctly. I'm also unable to find my system restore disc that came with my iMac. So all I've got is the system restore disc that came from my recently purchased MBP, which is Snow Leopard.

I've read the information provided from the following, http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1976068, that it can't be done and the system restore disc is computer specific, but what if I format my iMac completely?

I'm no expert but I figured it might work, just that the drivers included in the Snow Leopard disc won't respond to the hardware on my iMac for obvious reasons.

Thank you so much MR!
