OEM licenses are tied to the hardware and the manufacturer for support.

It's a full copy of Windows otherwise.

By that Eidorian means that if you ever need to call M$ for support you're completely out of luck because they don't do support on OEM licenses

Then again, I don't think I've EVER called MS for support... Also I'd get XP over *****ta any day... just my .02 having given Vista a try for 6 months on my Windows box.

I agree, get xp over vista. i still don't know anyone that likes vista. in all honesty, you best decision is to figure out how to use mac for EVERTHING. unless your playing a pc game (halo, etc) mac can do everything a pc can but better.
