Like the title of this thread states, I'd like to know if it is possible to install tiger onto a blueberry 300Mhz G3, 40GB clamshell over ethernet. I don't have an XServe that I can use netboot, but I have modified my Tiger DVD so that it will install on the iBook. My only limitation is that I don't have firewire or a DVD drive built in. I was wondering, is there any way to do this without having a server? Is it possible to create a network bootable drive from a non-server computer such as my macbook?

I also have read that these iBooks are capable of USB boot and have an external, self-powered USB DVD drive if that would work. I bought this clamshell on ebay and am waiting for it to arrive hopefully tomorrow and wanted to plot out how to get tiger on the thing before it arrives so I can get it ready in time for Christmas.

Thank you for taking the time to read this long, most likely boring thread!
