Here is my setup: Late 2011 MBP 13".

I replaced primary 500GB HDD with 256GB SSD and installed the 500GB HD in the superdrive bay.

My SSD has 1 partition with Mountain Lion installed.
My HDD has a 256GB parition that I use for Time Machine.
I would like to install windows 8 on the second partition on the 500GB drive.

When I try this using bootcamp it completely erases the 500GB and will only allow me to create 1 partition.

Is there anyway to overcome this?

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

Jason

I finally got windows 8 installed the way I want.

I used Boot Camp Assistant to make a bootable Windows 8 Install USB, but never let bootcamp partition the drive.

I rebooted my mac with the option key, then selected the efi boot option (usb drive).

From here I was able to use the windows 8 installer to partition the second drive and install windows.

I installed the Bootcamp support tools. But for some reason I have not been able to get Audio working.
