Can I jailbreak my iPod Touch 2G (MB) to iOS4 if it hasn't been jailbroken yet?

Yeah like the title says. I know a lot of jailbreaking stuff only works if it has been jailbroken before. Am I able to jailbreak it straight to iOS4 if it's still not jailbroken yet?

If yes, which jailbreaking program do you suggest that I use? Thanks.

MD doesn't exist yet.

MC is not jailbreakable at the moment. The devs are working on it!
MB can be jailbroken with redsnow on 4.0.

Redsn0w actually requires you to first update to iOS4 And no need to search for the .ipsw, its free and you can just update it normally through iTunes. After that, run redsn0w and have fun!
