I have tried but have gotten conflicting stories on it. Some say ya and some say no. Would just like to see someone who has and have had no issues. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

You can, but it will be tethered, meaning every-time you reboot, you have to re-jailbreak. Look up "tethered redsn0w 4.2.1"
