I have an Iphone4 that I'm going to give to a family member and the thing is, I want to backup the information in Itunes (so I can do a restore on an Iphone 5c) and then do a factory reset so that the phone is completely clear and clean for them, with none of my information or apps on it. My question is, it already has 6.1.3...if I do a factory restore, will it keep that iOS 6 or will it auto update to iOS 7?
I know with the Iphone 5c, it's going to keep the 7 even if I restore from the data from the iOS6...I'm just concerned about keeping the iOS 6 on that old Iphone 4...thanks in advance for the help.
