iPhone 12 Pro Can I line up early to pick up my 12 pro max even though my reservation is way later in the day?

Hi,

I placed my iPhone 12 pro max order a few days late and the only pick up window is now conflicting with work meetings. If I show up to pick up my iPhone 12 pro right when they open will I be turned away? my reservation is for 2:00 pm.

In most cases, they’ll let you in as long as the crowd isn’t too big. The appointment times are largely to moderate customer traffic flow.

Depends on the store and YMMV, doesn't hurt to try they may try to have you come in at your original scheduled time. Otherwise you can go later and let them know you had the window but you had something going on.

See if your apple store is express pick up only. Apple store near me converted into an express pick up only with 4 check in windows. They are not allowing walk-ins and all orders must be an online order pick up. So hopefully the pick up line won't be that bad and hopefully won't take long.

Hopefully they cancel your reservation... the entire reason for you getting a specific time is they believe people are smart enough to follow instructions, you know there is a pandemic going on and you want to disregard the rules so u can get your phone a couple hours

I tried to do this last year and I couldn’t. They were too busy so I had to come back at my scheduled time. It probably depends on your local store though.

I didn’t chance it in the morning when picking up my 12 but I was about 20 mins early and they kindly let me in as they had a couple of late/no shows before me.

Here they have a line for people without any reservations or appointments but they obviously dont have priority and then there is another line for people with an appointment and you just tell them you have one and they let you make the line whenever as long as you have a qr code for that day

All depends on the store and whatever else they have going on. Went launch morning with a 2:00 PM pick up time and was told to come back (no one else really there). Was nearby again around 12:30 and they leet me grab it (Totally different team).

Problem (on launch day) is that if everyone did this it makes the time slot process pointless as its pretty tight at very busy stores, potentially you jumping your time might delay someone else ........... outside of launch day when the time slots are not back to back they probably wont care that much. That said you maybe lucky and it will probably all depend on you store, how busy and the staff. ....... good luck !

In Ohio at the Apple store I go they will not allow it. You can only pick up at your reserved time regardless if it’s 0 people in the store.
