Hi everyone,

I have a factory unlocked iphone 4 that I bought new direct from apple australia.
I have it running ios 4.2.1, jailbroken by Greenpoison.
I would like to restore my phone to the current 4.3.3 firmware, hereby giving up the jailbreak and erasing everything on the iphone.

Is there any risk I could lose the unlock on my phone?

Thanks :apple:

You obviously know a user can lose a software unlock through updating. However, how do you think someone can lose a hardware-based factory unlock?

I don't know, that's why I ask.
Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm sure you know this already but you do know that 4.3.3 can be jailbroken, right? It sounds like you just want to restore to stock and don't really care but I just wanted to put that out there.
