Hi everyone.
I use a specific app a lot and have concerns whether it will continue to be available.
If I wait for a new Mac Air and it is discontinued, can it be transferred from my old Pro to a new Air?

Yep. You'll have to authenticate with your account on that computer either when you move that app or whenever you set up the computer, but it will continue to work even if it's not on the App Store anymore.

The OP didn't mention the Mac App Store.

@ the OP: How old is this app and does it require Rosetta? If so, Lion dropped backwards compatibility for PPC applications so even if you copy the application to a newer system it will not launch/run.

I just re-read the post, if this is a question more about whether the license is transferable to a new computer, that's a question best addressed by the software developer.
