I do my best to keep my MBP in extremely good condition. Sadly due to taking it everywhere when I travel, I've picked up a few minor scratches on the bottom case. They're very light scratches but I wanted to know if there is a possibility of being able to order a new bottom plate one day? I'd assume that the answer is no since the serial number is on the bottom plate but I wasn't sure. I may have to end up using one of those liquid gels to apply to the scratches, I'm just not sure how well they work.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Chances are when you replace it, it's going to get scratched up again. Also, I haven't come across just the bottom plate. It usually comes with the whole housing which can cost anywhere from 70-100 dollars on eBay. I don't think it's worth the money just because theres minor scratches on a part you rarely look at or can see.

Yeah that's true. I'll just look into those liquid thingey options. Thanks!
