Can I order X while in Costa Rica on 27th?

I will be on vacation when the pre-order starts for the iPhone X. Will I be able to use the app or safari to try to preorder the iPhone while I am there or will it think I am trying to buy a U.S. phone while in Costa Rica? I guess a VPN might help, right?

I cant see it being an issue you apple ID will dictate that you are using the US store and you delivery address will still be US

There might be some regional restrictions, I’m going to be about three times farther away than you will be and will use a VPN to tunnel back to North America in order to attempt to complete a purchase

All that matters is you're on the Apple.com site and not a regional subsite.

Depending on the server location and encryption, a VPN will likely increase the lag. Not something you want when milliseconds count.
