Is it ok to watch video while my iPhone is plugged into a wall charger, or use gps while it's plugged into car the car charger? I am a newb to the phone. Both things, especially the gps seem to suck power. Thanks

Yup. I watch movies, stream music and do other things while plugged in.

Depending on the source of the power, and the apps you are running, you may find your device still loses power while plugged in - albeit at a slower rate. I think screen brightness and 3G/GPS use cause this the most.

Ran into this on a 5 hour drive. GPS was sucking battery, so I had to keep exiting out of the app for it to charge up a little bit. Rinse & repeated.

I think you have a problem with either your car charger, car battery or cigarette charger.

I always end up with 100% charged at the end of a long trip using GPS.
