So basically I bought a MacBook Pro mid 2010 today seems to work ok only thing is it doesn't find wifi at all. The guy who I bought it from didn't say there was an issue then I found what seemed to be a wifi dongle at the bottom of the bag he gave with me. The laptop also powers off then instantly reboots leaving me to hold the power button down to turn off the device. What would you guys suggest?

Thanks Dan.

I'd guess its broken :p I also hope you didn't pay much for it ;)

But honestly, what would you like us to suggest?

Try a new airport card but that doesn't sound good at all with the power reboot cycles. I would remove the card and see if it still acts up and if so it could be expensive...

I've heard that bad airport cards could cause the restart after shutdown thing.
