iPhone 12 Pro Can I play Dolby Vision on my TCL ... please help!

3 series TCL 4K Smart LED TV, 65" (65S425)? I read it doesn't have DV. The 4 and 6 series do.

If I buy a 4k Apple TV, will I be able to play it on my TV then? Or no?

So in other words, Does it have to be a Dolby Vision capable TV in order to play it?

You have to have a DV capable tv for it to play in DV. If you don't have a DV capable tv, it will still play in 4K. But right now, it's not playing as DV through the Apple tv anyway on DV capable tv's. They need to update the ATV 4K because the iPhone is using the latest DV profile.
