Currently have a Macbook late 2007 which is being used by my father, and a macbookpro. just wondering if I could use the magsafe adapter of the macbook to load the battery of my mbp, since i could use that at home, and keep my mbp magsafe at work.

is there any problem, or do they have different specs?

cheers.

Yes, it's OK.

Some of the Magsafes have different power outputs, so it might take slightly longer to charge the battery if you are using the Mac heavily at the same time.

I have the same setup. I have a 2009 MBP and my GF has a 2006 MB and I use whichever charger is closest.
