Can i Purchase from o2 Sim Free?

Just wondering if i can purchase from o2 Sim free or just Apple? Also would it be unlocked to any network or locked too o2?

I have a friend who works for 02 and 02 are NOT giving out contract-free phones yet, and even if they did sell contract free phones they would be locked on the 02 network.

I was thinking the exact same as you, looks like im getting my 4S next week.

I cant get one thats why Apple are sold out! Am tempted to order offline then then but thats 2 weeks with no phone hmmmm
