If it's a Revision A or B iMac G5 it's dirt easy.
Which G5?what is revision A and B and how do you do it?

If it's an iMac, does it have an iSight?

If you want to be able to use the system based burning (from disc utility or itunes, or the desktop) your choices are narrower. If you use Toast, however, you can use almost any drive out there.
It should be in your documentation. How would u install a disc drive into the g5 then??
