Can I put memory from a 2010 MacBook Pro into a 2008 MacBook Pro

I'm not too memory-savvy, so I'm reaching out to this fine forum. I have a 2010 MacBook Pro that I just upgraded to 8, and now have what's left sitting on the coffee table. I'd like to put that 4 into my 2008 MacBook Pro, but I don't know if it's compatible. Anyone have an idea if this will work?

Only between Unibody models, as the Aluminium models use 200 pin DDR2 RAM and the Unibody models use 204-pin DDR3 RAM.
