I have an 11" Air, and I used it for about a week before I transferred my files from my old MacBook Pro to it using Migration Assistant that were saved on my External Hard Drive.
When I used it I noticed that the "Macintosh HD" icon was missing from the desktop, and I figured it was because it was an SSD. But I just transferred everything right now to my Air using Migration Assistant and noticed that the Macintosh HD icon is back on my desktop exactly as it was on my previous computer. My question is if I can delete this from the Desktop without losing any files or anything.
