Inside A Mac Box
You know how they used to do it back in the day for the cellphones?
Well I wanna know if you can purchase another apple care year even if your comp is already broken (not working). Is there a way they check your comp first?

Thanks. If not then I'll just stick to the 2 year best buy plan.

You have to buy it within the first year, and it doesn't cover accidental. But if there is something bad now, and you are still within the one year warranty - just get it repaired, no need to buy AppleCare.

Define "bad".

If you only had one year of AppleCare and have passed that year, you cannot get the extra two years, anyway.

If your computer has a problem that is not covered by AppleCare to begin with, no amount of AppleCare can help you.
