Carrier Can I restore a iPhone 7 Plus backup to an iPhone 7 and vice versa?

Hey guys, I plan to switch to an iPhone 7 from a 7 Plus. Thing is I'd hate to set up everything again so it'd be nice if I can restore the 7 Plus backup to my upcoming iphone 7. Is it possible? Thanks!
