Hello all,

I have a Verizon iPhone 4. I used it for 2 months and unfortunately, I could not pay the bill and it was blocked by VZW (so it has a bad ESN). I don't want to use it to make calls anymore but I have a question regarding the activation through itunes in the future. I am using this as a good iPod and camera and want to use it like this.

I want to know if I will be able to activate it (come to the home screen) when I update it to iOS 5. In GSM iPhone we need the SIM card to activate and come to home screen through itunes. Will there be any problem for me to come to home screen when I restore this CDMA iPhone 4?
