I am a new Mac user. My husband was telling me about how great macs are and that they never shut down. Well, after working for 5 hours on a project, I went to save my file, and just before I clicked save, imovie unexpectedly shut down and I lost everything in the past 5 hours.

Is there any way I can find that imovie I was working on in a temp file somewhere. I know the answer is probably no, I just want to check just in case.

I appreciate your help.

Take a look in your Movies. When you start an iMove project it asks you for somewhere to save it (the default is "My Great Movie" in "/Users/<your user short name>/Movies"). It should have saved a lot of your work in that file. If you changed the location then look there of course!

Thanks
