I had some important photos/videos from a graduation that I lost during the ios4 update. I checked all the backups and none of them have the photos. When I restore from the backups, it just gives me a fresh iphone to work with.

1. Does itunes overwrite old backup files? Or will I be able to find the old file somewhere?

2. Are photos backed up at all?

I also lost at least one song that I purchased on the phone, and it is now neither in my library or on the phone. Also can't move Todo to the iphone.

3. If I re-download Todo from the app store, will they charge me again?
