can i restore my ipad 2 wifi with ios 5.0.1 blobs?

I have my 5.0.1 blobs saved on cydia, and am wondering if ill be able to update my ipad 2 to 5.0.1 if 5.1 comes out?

Or are 5.0.0 blobs currently useless for ipad 2
