Can I revert my Photo library to an iPhoto library?

As per thread title, if any of you guys know how I can do this? My iPhoto 1.0.1 is just a pain in the a$$ and just stopped syncing. To date I haven't found a solution. So, am thinking of reverting back to iPhoto 9.6.1

Problem is my library is over 200GB. I want to avoid having to redownload everything again!
