I do film editing. I want to have 3 monitors going at once, my MBP and two externals. Can I do that? I can connect the monitors with thunderbolt. But I'm not quite sure how to do this.

Maybe. If it's a 13" 2011 model MacBook Pro, then no - you can have one external plus the internal. All other Thunderbolt-equipped MacBook Pros can support dual externals.

If you're not sure which model you have, and it is a 13" MacBook Pro, enter your serial number at http://selfsolve.apple.com
