Up until recently, I've been using iWork '08. The latest version of Pages allows you to export to ePub format, which sounded useful, so I purchased Pages (and while I was there) Numbers, from the App store.

I then found that the new versions won't open any of my existing files!
In short, spoke to Apple who have agreed to refund me the cost, which they've now done, and I'm grateful for.
However, I still have the new versions of the software installed, and I feel, as a matter of principle, that I should uninstall them.

Question : If I uninstall the latest version of Pages & Numbers, using something like AppCleaner, will it only uninstall the files that relate to the new versions, leaving the old Apps intact?
I don't want to get rid of the new versions and find that it cripples the iWork '08 versions at the same time because the old & new versions share some files.

Thanks!
