I think I did something stupid here. I transferred my songs to another computer via firewire target disk mode. But I didn't copy over my ratings and other info. I'm not sure, but in order to do this would you have to copy the iTunes database file in ~/Music/iTunes?

The problem is, I decided to consolidate all of my music files (which included some spoken word files) into my Library before doing this, so now my Library is not the same. Is it too late to salvage my ratings and other info? I tried copying my old database file into the new iTunes folder, but it didn't do anything when I opened iTunes.

Edit: I haven't tried deleting the additions to the library, I'll do that next, but I'd like to see if there's an easier way to just import the info.
